I’m new to Sam Vickery and I’m so glad I asked for this book. The Child at the Party is the perfect summer thriller. It features lifelong best friends/couples. One family is holding itself together by the seams while another is moving along raising their daughter, Rose. After Rose’s birthday party, they find a child left behind. The child eerily looks like her husband- but he’s dropped out of sight. This books goes twisty pretty quickly and before you know it, even you’re not sure whose child is whose. This is a fantastic book for a weekend read or getaway!
