What a rollercoaster of a book! I’m new to Kristin Harper but absolutely following her now. This book takes place in flash-sequences. On all accounts, Katie and Zach have the perfect marriage- they just dropped their twin daughters at college and are ready to settle in as empty-nesters. Zach decides to go camping with friends and Katie discovers that’s not where he is at all after receiving a phone call from a hospital in New Hampshire. Hospital? How, where, why begins to slowly unravel with a twist you’ll never see coming.
