When Elm Creek Quilt Camp finds itself in financial distress, The Hollywood comes knocking on the door by way of a TV series and its star, Julia. She hatches a plan for cast and crew to visit “the luxurious camp”, which after 23 books- its clearly not as fancy as it is quaint. I feel like part of this plot is also addressed in book 23, where there was some financial distress. At any rate, quilting survives and friendships thrive. But as someone who had read all 24 books, a different narrative is owed the series or perhaps a sunset novel to call it done.
