Took a break from ARCs to catch up with one of my favorite authors @kristywharvey and her latest summer blockbuster Summer State of Mind. I was so happy to see the reemergence of Tilley and Mason along with new storylines and family drama! Complicated families are what Harvey writes best- and even the most “perfect on paper” are always in a tizzy. Daisy, a NICU nurse, falls in love with a surrendered baby hours after its birth- she fights hard to get temporary custody while diving back into familiar territory with a former flame. When the “real parents “ are revealed, Daisy is conflicted. Meanwhile, Mason has found love and an unexpected job offer that takes him away from Cape Carolina. Hearts get bruised in this one and decades old secrets revealed- but don’t let that deter you from one of her best yet. #kristywoodsonharvey #libraryninja📚
