I’ve been a huge fan of Elaine Viets for over a decade, but lost track of her during the pandemic. The Dead End Job series and the Mystery Shopper series where amazing books. So, imagine my surprise where Ms. Viets is back with a new summer blockbuster- Beach Blonde Betrayal. The Florodora Apartment Complex has everything you want- its breezy, it’s a mystery, it’s a community and they’re all quirky. Unfortunately, there’s a serial killer run amok in the town and it’s up to Norah to uncover the truth. I’m late to this series and will pick, up the first book- but that shouldn’t stop you from enjoying this with a cocktail and sand between your toes.
